Protocols for Students with a Positive COVID-19 Test
Monitor Symptoms
Throughout the semester, all students are expected to monitor their own symptoms. We recommend using Parkview’s COVID-19 Symptom Tracker and following the guidance provided through this assessment.
If it is recommended that you seek medical attention, contact your health service provider or the USF Health & Wellness Clinic at (260) 373-7540. If you are experiencing life threatening symptoms, contact 911 immediately.
If you exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 and are awaiting medical care and/or test results, you ought to limit your exposure to the greatest extent possible. Follow CDC guidelines, including:
- Stay home except to receive medical care
- Separate yourself from other people
- Continue to monitor your symptoms
If you are a residential student with a roommate(s) and experience symptoms but are awaiting medical care and/or test results, contact your On-Call RA. You may be relocated to a private room with a private restroom for quarantine.
