Employee Guidance

University of Saint Francis (USF) is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, students, and visitors. As a member of the USF community, you will also need to do your part to ensure the safety and well-being of yourself and others.

Employees are expected to:

• Familiarize yourself with the resources on this COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness and Response site.
• Review and reflect on the Franciscans Care Agreement and how you might demonstrate USF’s Franciscan Values to others on campus.
• Read USF’s COVID-19 Safety Plan
• Review the COVID-19 training on proper hand washing, respiratory etiquette, social distancing, and face coverings and agree to demonstrate best practices.
• Complete the COVID-19 Employee Daily Symptom or Exposure Checklist before coming to work each day.
• If employee is ill and/or has been exposed to a potential or confirmed case of COVID-19, please complete the COVID-19 Exposure Notification form.
• Familiarize yourself with the Exposure/Quarantine Scenarios and the Employee Return to Work flowchart.
• Complete the Employee Self-Certification Return to Work form after an absence due to illness or potential exposure to COVID-19.
• Journal your general activity on campus each day to facilitate contact tracing if needed.
• Practice good housekeeping guidelines by disinfecting high touch areas and personal areas using the provided cleaning supplies.
• Communicate regularly with your supervisor on matters of concern.
